• This basic culinary arts course will provide students an opportunity to experience the varied culinary aspects needed for working in a foodservice establishment. Students gain skills in fundamentals of food service preparation, customer relations, accounting, cost control, work place safety, sanatation and marketing.  During internships with job site mentors, and work based employment opportunities, student will gain practical culinary skills.

    The following courses are included in this course major:Introduction to Hospitaltiy and Tourism, Culinary Basic Skills, Culinary Intermediate Skills, Dining Room Management, Culinary Advanced Skills, and Culinary Arts Capstone
